About the Author
Peanut the pig was created by author/illustrator George Clayton Johnson. Johnson has written and illustrated over 20 books about Peanut, including the popular Peanut Tales series. Johnson's books have been translated into over 20 languages and have sold over 1 million copies worldwide.
Johnson is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. He has worked as a commercial artist, a teacher, and a children's book author and illustrator. Johnson is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.
Johnson lives in Rhode Island with his wife, two children, and a dog named Peanut.
Peanut and the Laureates Activity Guide
